The GIS for Public Health Policy course at Stanmore School of Business perfectly aligned with my professional development plan. The modules on spatial epidemiology gave me a clear roadmap to integrate ArcGIS into our county health surveillance system. I was especially impressed by the hands‑on lab where we mapped COVID‑19 vaccination rates and identified underserved neighborhoods, which I have already presented to senior officials. The course materials—concise slide decks, up‑to‑date case studies, and real‑world datasets—were of exceptional quality. Overall, the experience was highly structured and rewarding, and I feel fully equipped to lead GIS‑based health initiatives.
Ich war begeistert von dem Kurs „نظم المعلومات الجغرافية لسياسة الصحة العامة“ an der Stanmore School of Business!
The GIS for Public Health Policy programme offered by Stanmore School of Business provided a thorough and detailed learning journey. My primary goal was to acquire the ability to visualize disease outbreaks geographically, and the course delivered this through step‑by‑step tutorials on using ArcGIS Pro for spatial analysis. For instance, I built a heat‑map of malaria cases across the Kenyan highlands, which I later incorporated into a policy brief for the Ministry of Health. The reading list, comprising recent journal articles and WHO guidelines, was both comprehensive and directly relevant. While the workload was demanding, the depth of knowledge gained makes it a valuable investment for anyone serious about health informatics.
