What a brilliant course! Género Y Política gave me a thorough insight into how gender dynamics shape political institutions worldwide. The week on feminist policy frameworks was eye‑opening; I used the analytical tools from that module to evaluate a local council's gender budgeting process, which impressed my supervisors. The lecture slides were impeccably designed and the supplemental podcasts added depth. I loved the lively discussion forums where peers from different continents shared real‑world examples. This experience has truly boosted my confidence in conducting gender‑focused research.
The Género Y Política course exceeded my expectations. The modules on gender quota systems gave me concrete data I could apply in my work as a policy analyst, allowing me to draft a briefing paper for my department. The reading list—particularly the case studies from the Nordic countries—was both current and academically rigorous. I especially appreciated the interactive webinars where we simulated legislative debates; they sharpened my negotiation skills and deepened my understanding of intersectional policy impacts. Overall, the course delivered high‑quality content that directly aligned with my learning goals, and I feel fully equipped to contribute to gender‑responsive policy design.
The Género Y Política course provided a detailed and comprehensive overview of gender relations in political contexts. I was particularly impressed by the module on gendered electoral systems, which equipped me with statistical tools to analyse voting patterns in Kenya. The course materials, including the downloadable policy briefs and the annotated bibliography, were of high academic standard and directly relevant to my thesis on women’s representation in East African parliaments. The final project—designing a gender‑sensitive advocacy campaign—allowed me to apply theory to practice, and I have already begun implementing parts of that campaign in my community work. Overall, a well‑structured learning experience that met my objectives.
