As a special education teacher, I was looking to expand my knowledge of assistive technology and how to integrate it into my classroom practice. The course did a great job of covering the basics of assistive technology, as well as more advanced topics like augmentative and alternative communication. I appreciated the detailed examples and case studies that were provided, as they helped to illustrate the practical applications of the concepts being taught. One area for improvement might be the discussion forums - while they were a great way to connect with other students, I sometimes found it difficult to keep up with the pace of the conversations.
