I thoroughly enjoyed the Global Certificate in Victorian Gothic Aesthetics course at Stanmore School of Business. The course content was incredibly comprehensive, covering everything from the historical context of the Victorian era to the key architectural and literary features of the Gothic style. The quality of the course materials was exceptional, with engaging video lectures, detailed readings, and thought-provoking discussions. I approached the Global Certificate in Victorian Gothic Aesthetics course with a mix of excitement and trepidation, given my limited background in art history. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the clarity and organization of the course materials, which made it easy for me to follow along and engage with the content. The instructors were knowledgeable and responsive, and the discussions were well-moderated and thought-provoking. One aspect of the course that I found particularly useful was the emphasis on practical applications of Victorian Gothic aesthetics in modern design and culture. For example, we analyzed how the Victorian Gothic style has influenced contemporary architecture, fashion, and film. While there were some areas where I felt the course could have delved deeper, overall I was satisfied with the experience and feel like I gained a solid foundation in the subject matter.
